The Goings-On Lately

Well at least it hasn't been three whole months, right?

We had a great Christmas (but unfortunately I don't have any proof of it because my camera was left at my parents' on Christmas Eve) and New Year. Santa came through and got the kids their beloved Pillow Pets among many, many other presents.

Ally lost her first tooth the day after Christmas. It had been loose for a while but wouldn't let us touch it. She came downstairs (an hour after I'd put her to bed) and showed us the tooth. She said she lightly punched herself twice in the mouth and out it popped, no problem. Whatever works. She lost the other bottom front tooth a week later.

Ally turned 6 last month and we celebrated for a week because Mike was on a business trip on the big day. I can't believe how fast the time goes. Sometimes I look at her and can't believe she was my tiny baby.

The pictures of the previous two events are on the computer downstairs. I'll put them on here eventually. Maybe.

Today was a big day for her too. It's the first day of dance class. She's been "waiting for this since we came to Pleasant Grove!" It's all she's talked about. I have to go pick her up in a few minutes, so we'll see how it actually went. And because a post is no fun without pictures, I actually took a couple of her in her new dance clothes:
