Christmas

We had a really fun Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve at parents' and opened their presents that night. My son loves to eat, but is a little bit picky. So instead of pork, salads, rolls, and pie, he ate Lucky Charms for dinner. No, scratch that. He ate all the marshmallows out a bowl of Lucky Charms.

My parents gave Ally an MP3 player which she loves. When did I get old enough to have a daughter who wears headphones when she walks around the house?
We had to wake the kids up at 8:00 so we would have time to open presents at our house and get to Grammy's in time for breakfast and more presents. Ally got a whole lot of books from Santa and Crit got some trucks and balls. He's been playing with pink toys for his whole life, so Santa must have known he wanted some boy toys.

We went to Grammy's where Ally and Cousin Jack got new Utah pajamas. Ally also got a new pink scooter that she's a lot better at now than she was a couple of weeks ago. She can't wait to ride it to kindergarten with all the kids in the neighborhood.

We enjoyed having Daddy home for a couple of long weekends and spending extra time together (but it was so nice to send Ally back to preschool today). He got an electronic book and I got new dishes and a beautiful jewelery box.
